Lepolosi Site Profile
The school and surrounding community relied on an unprotected spring that was quite a distance from the school. Learners had to interrupt their studies to go and collect water for use in the school. Community members had to walk for hours under the scorching sun from far away villages to collect water. The school’s facilitation facilities were in extremely poor conditions with some almost filled up and others lacking doors. Across the villages households largely practiced open defecation as none of the households in the villages surrounding the school had toilets.
