Although a borehole existed, it was unreliable and overstretched by community and school demand. Frequent breakdowns and low yield meant learners still brought water from home. The school had insufficient and poorly maintained latrines, no dedicated space for menstrual hygiene, and lacked handwashing stations, making hygiene education difficult to implement.
