Endoinyo-Okopit Site Profile
The community relied on a unprotected spring that was always dirtied by livestock and the masses of people who would bathe and wash their clothes by the spring. Both the primary and secondary school relied on rain water which was a challenge due to limited tanks seeing that the secondary school offered boarding facilities to learners. Sanitation coverage across the households was relatively high and the community members were well informed on the importance of safe sanitation and hygiene practices. The learning institutions had sanitation facilities which were not adequate for the learners.
