Oldonyo Rasha Primary School relied on rainwater harvesting, but storage tanks were insufficient and often ran dry. This left the school without water for weeks at a time. The surrounding community depended on water pans which often relied on rain water to collect water. Toilets at the school were inadequate in number and poorly maintained.
